Fantastic drive up to The Lakes this morning, clear skies and an awesome temperature inversion over Keswick. Again parking at The Old Saw Mill car park, we walked through the woods towards Dyke Nook then turn to join the Allerdale Ramble. Climbing to the summit of Ullock in the shade, then enjoying the sunshine as we crossed Longside ridge towards Carl Side. Onwards and upwards across the scree to summit Skiddaw - rather busy! So we continued north to find a quit spot for lunch. Heading back along the same route to Carl Side then down towards Dodd to join the woodland path back to the car park.
