Route Map

The weather forecast was not good, but having missed the last two trips due to either work or weather I decided to go anyway. The first afternoon was fine with good sunshine and warm, until we approached Scoat Tarn. Then it started to rain, tent up we had showers for the next couple of hours. Then around 8pm the rain set in, heavy rain and wind all night. The rain eased a little in the morning so we headed to Haycock in low cloud, the cloud stayed down until the early afternoon as we headed back to the car. Wet but enjoyable, gave the tent a good test!
