Route Map

We started from Greasmere and headed for Sourmilk Gill. Leaving the main footpath at the Juniper bushes we cross the Gill to follow the ridge path up to the summit of Tarn Crag. The cold wind kept us moving, once out of the wind the sunshine warmed us as we eat lunch just down from the summit. Now onto Blea Rigg via Codale Tarn before dropping down to Easedale Tarn and back to Grasmere.
