Welcome to my website. I created this site to record my personal attempt to climb all of the 214 Lakeland fells featured in Alfred Wainwright’s pictorial guides. Each fell will be added to the site as they are completed, giving details of the route taken. In addition to the fells of The Lake District, I’ve included walks not covered by the guides as well as a little about our family.

Route Map

Helvellyn - the third highest mountain in England and the first climbed by Emily (8) and Sophie (4). Following the route I did last year, we climbed on the shorter path from Swirls car park. It was a warm sunny day at the start, but cold and windy on the summit.
