Route Map

Having camped at Sykeside it was an 8:30 start to Dove Crag. Walking past Brothers Water then climbing up through Low Wood onto the ridge to Hartsop above How. As I approached the summit of Hartsop above How the cloud came down and it started snowing. For rest of the walk I remained in cloud with visibility averaging 30 meters, navigating from one way point to the next. It was not until descending High Hartsop Dodd when the valley reappeared.
